Keith Hicks met up recently with Ian McMahon, an old Dale colleague from the 1980’s, who would have gone to make a name for himself at the highest level in professional football had it not been for a serious knee injury that finished his career at the tender age of 22 years playing for Rochdale, Keith also retired through a serious pelvic injury seein
Since then he’s been all over the world employed in numerous sporting administrative capacities and writing books about his experiences.
Spent a brilliant couple of hours reminiscing about events both on and off the field at Spotland on his visit up north from his base now near High Wycombe.
